Recreational Gymnastics (Reception Age +)

Gymnastics is an excellent way to improve overall health, fitness, and mental well-being, and it’s a sport that’s accessible to everyone—no matter their age or ability. It’s a full-body workout that promotes balance, strength, flexibility, and coordination, providing a great foundation for any future sports.

At Tumble, our focus is on helping children build fitness and essential movement skills through engaging and progressive activities. With a variety of equipment and a fun, safe environment, our classes not only promote physical growth but also encourage confidence, teamwork, and friendship.

Our Recreational Gymnastics classes are available for children from Reception age onward, with a focus on enjoyment, personal growth, and development at all levels. Classes are led by experienced, enthusiastic coaches who are committed to creating a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for children to get active. We offer mixed-age and mixed-ability classes, where children are grouped by age to encourage both individual growth and teamwork.

Tumble Levels Program
Our unique Tumble Levels system complements the recreational program, providing a structured pathway for children to track their progress and achievements. This system teaches valuable life skills, such as perseverance, resilience, and effort, while encouraging a sense of accomplishment.

With levels ranging from 1 to 10, our testing takes place three times a year, offering plenty of chances for your child to advance. Upon passing a level, your child can earn a medal and certificate signed by two British Olympic gymnasts—recognising their hard work and dedication.

Tumble Tricksters (Age 6+)

The Tumble Tricksters class is perfect for children aged 6 and over who have plenty of energy to burn and love to move! This isn’t your typical gymnastics class—it’s a fun, high-energy experience inspired by Parkour, designed for children who enjoy climbing, jumping, and exploring movement in a safe, exciting way.

In this class, kids will learn to control their bodies as they navigate fun challenges, such as climbing over blocks, jumping on trampolines, swinging on bars, and tumbling down the bouncy track. While the class is structured, it also allows for flexibility, giving children the freedom to progress through skills at their own pace.

They’ll also get to experiment with various types of equipment and take on exciting challenges, including assault-course-style activities. It’s all about having fun, pushing limits, and building confidence while being active in a supportive environment.

No gymnastics experience is required to join—just bring plenty of energy and a willingness to have fun!

Gym Plus (Ages 10+)

Our Gym Plus class is designed for gymnasts aged 10-17 who already have a solid gymnastics background. These classes offer a more challenging and progressive experience, aimed at helping older gymnasts improve their skills while staying active in a fun and social environment.

Each week, gymnasts will take part in a coach-led circuit that introduces new skills or helps refine existing ones. In addition to structured training, gymnasts will also have the opportunity to work independently on the skills of their choice, with supervision and guidance from our experienced coaches.

This class is perfect for gymnasts looking to take their abilities to the next level while enjoying the social aspect of the sport and staying fit.

SEN/ALN Disability Gymnastics (Ages 5+)

Our inclusive gymnastics sessions are specially designed to support children with Special Educational Needs and Additional Learning Needs. These sessions focus on building confidence, coordination, and strength in a calm, supportive, and safe environment.

Children will have full access to the gym, including the foam pit and trampoline areas, and are encouraged to explore at their own pace. All apparatus will be available to help support movement, sensory input, and skill development—with the emphasis firmly on fun and enjoyment.

While these sessions are unstructured to allow freedom and flexibility, our qualified and experienced coaches will be on hand to provide guidance and support with any skills your child would like to try.
