TUMBLE FUN TIME/BABY TODDLER LOGO

Baby & toddler groups at Tumble Gymnastics and Activity centre are a unique collection of programmes planned and developed by our highly skilled practitioner, Suzanne Thomson. Suzanne has 30 years of training and experience working in the early years field and is committed to delivering a professional service.  Using relative research, theories and studies, sessions will encourage child development, promote interaction and bonding with parents/carers, introduce new experiences and help support social relationships for both babies and adults.

Delivered through fun music, dance and movement activities, stories, sensory resources/activities, yoga and massage in a relaxed and comfortable environment.   Parents and children will learn this through a weekly planned, structured session with the emphasis on learning through baby/child-led, open-ended, sensory and heuristic play that can easily be transferred to a home environment.

We are working hard to build a new and improved Baby and Toddler Timetable with some brand new and exclusive courses.

Our new timetable will include COVID-Secure face to face sessions for babies from birth to sitting.

Our Research

“Babies should be encouraged to be active throughout the day, every day.  Before your baby begins to crawl, encourage them to be physically active by reaching and grasping, pulling and pushing, moving their head, body and limbs during daily routines, and during supervised floor play, including tummy time. Once babies can move around, encourage them to be as active as possible in a safe, supervised and nurturing play environment. ” (source)

“Studies have shown children who develop their motor skills and activate their vestibular systems with movement based activities, were further advanced in cognitive development over other peers.” (source)
