Cheer Camp

If your child loves to learn floor-based gymnastics such as cartwheels, walkovers, flips and somersaults, along with group work, chants and having fun with friends, Cheer Camp is for them. Your child will learn and develop gymnastics skills, pair work, tumbling skills, dance, different types of jumping and routines all wrapped into one camp. A great session to do with friends or a great way to make new friends. They will get to use the foam pit, trampolines, tracks and floor areas during the sessions to help develop different cheer skills with fully qualified coaches. The camps are great for beginners as well as already-established cheerleaders.

Suitable for ages 5 – 14

Gymnastics Camp

No matter if your child is an advanced gymnast or a complete beginner, these camps are a fun way to keep fit, have fun, make friends, and learn or develop new gymnastics skills. In these camps, your child will learn a range of different things, from games to increase the heart rate with full body warm-ups and stretches to conditioning exercises which will help develop the strength needed for more advanced gymnastics skills to try out during the sessions. The children will learn at their own pace and at their own level, keeping it fun while learning and developing in all areas of gymnastics. The children will get use of all gymnastics equipment including the foam pit and trampoline areas. This is a great camp to challenge both physical and mental fitness through something they love.

Gymnastics Camp

Rolling Camp

60 minutes dedicated to all things rolling. 

Forward roll, backwards roll, handstand forward roll, backward roll to handstand, you name it, we are rolling with it. 

During this session there will be lots of exercises and progressions for every level to help develop all types of rolling. Even the warm up, stretching and conditioning exercises are tailored to rolling skills. Your child will be able to use some of the progressions and physical preparation skills learnt within the session at home to help continue the development of the skills.

Cartwheel Camp

60 minutes dedicated to learning cartwheels. 

During this session, there will be lots of different skill development exercises to help improve or master a cartwheel. Even the warm-up, stretching, and conditioning exercises are tailored to cartwheel development. Your child will be able to use some of the progressions and physical preparation skills learned within the session at home to help continue the development of the skill.

60 minutes dedicated to improving or mastering a handstand. 

During this session, there will be lots of breakdown and strength exercises for every level to help develop the perfect handstand. Even the warm-up, stretching, and conditioning exercises are tailored to the handstand skill. Your child will be able to use some of the progressions and physical preparation skills learned within the session at home to help continue the development of the skill.

Flic Camp

60 minutes dedicated to the development of a flic. 

During this session there will be lots of progressions, preparation and strength exercises to help develop a flic. Even the warm up, stretching and conditioning exercises are tailored to the flic skill. Your child will be able to use some of the conditioning exercises learnt within the session at home to help continue developing the strength needed for the skill.

Flic Camp

60 minutes dedicated to the development of a flic.

Team Gym for Beginners Camp

Beginners Team Gym is an introduction to what Team Gym gymnastics is all about. Tumble TG is usually an invite only class, but we have put on specific days over the holidays for those who just want to give it a go. Learn to jump in different ways on an angled trampette, stream to music, join skills together on the track, use the TG vault, work as a team, learn new skills related to TG, and build confidence and friendships. Your child will get to work with Team Gym qualified coaches and will have use of the whole gym including the podium area with foam pit and trampolines.

Suitable for ages 5- 11

Somersault Camp

60 minutes dedicated to developing the basics needed to start to learn, improve or master a forward and backward somersault.

During this session there will be strength and preparation exercises for every level to help with the development of a forward and backward somersault. Even the warm up, stretching and conditioning exercises are tailored to the somersault skill.

Somersault Camp

60 minutes dedicated to developing the basics needed to start to learn, improve or master a forward and backward somersault.

During this session there will be strength and preparation exercises for every level to help with the development of a forward and backward somersault. Even the warm up, stretching and conditioning exercises are tailored to the somersault skill.

Walkover Camp

60 minutes dedicated to improving your bridge kickovers, drop to bridge, handstand bridge, or forward and backward walkovers.

During this session, there will be lots of progressions and strength exercises for every level to help develop any part of a walkover skill. We will be working on both forwards and backwards walkover skills within the 60 minutes. Even the warm-up, stretching, and conditioning exercises are tailored to the walkover skills. Your child will be able to use some of the progressions and physical preparation skills learned within the session at home to help continue the development of the skills.

Tricksters Camp

If your child isn’t really into all the gymnastics equipment that the regular gymnastics camps and sessions offer such as bars and beam, and just likes to run, jump, climb and tumble over things in a safe environment then this is the camp for them. A structured class based around more of the acrobatic, and jumping side of gymnastics, using mainly the rebound equipment such as trampolines, trampette and the foam pit areas. There will be challenges, exercises to develop strength, power and coordination and of course the development of gymnastic skills using physical preparation and breakdown of skill exercises. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has knowledge and experience in some gymnastics type skills there will be challenging fun for everyone.

Bars and Beam Camp

If your child loves hanging and balancing, this is the one for them. Trying different skills for their capabilities on the two different gymnastics apparatus and learning exercises to develop the strength and balance needed to be able to gain higher skills in the future. Your child will enjoy trying out different ways to walk, balance, jump, mount, dismount and develop skills on the beam. Using progressive equipment such as line mats, floor beams, pads, lower beams, and higher beams with mats, your child will grow in confidence and be able to develop at their own pace.

Bars are something most children love, however, it takes great core and upper body strength to develop this particular apparatus further than a few skills. Your child will learn strength exercises and shaping techniques that can be continued at home to develop the strength needed to progress on this piece as well as trying different skills within the session at the pace and physical strength and ability of each child. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has knowledge and experience on bars and beam, there will be challenging fun for everyone.
